Area of Use and Purpose

Sekusept Aktiv is a powder form peracetic acid based manual cleaning and disinfection agent developed for non-autoclavable medical instruments such as flexible endoscopes and anesthetic equipment.

How to use

Prepare a solution with water of at least drinking water quality in a suitable tub in accordance with the ratios indicated in the Microbiological Test Results and Dosage Table, immerse the instruments in the solution so that all surfaces are wet, clean the instruments including mechanical application (e.g. brushing, wiping) in accordance with the recommendations of the instrument manufacturers, rinse with water of at least drinking water quality after the required contact time and then dry the internal channels (e.g. endoscopes) and external surfaces. A separate solution container is required for cleaning and disinfection and a separate disinfection container for final disinfection. Prepare the solution daily according to the RKI (Robert-Koch Institute) recommendation, in case of visible contamination, dispose of the solution and prepare a new solution immediately.
