- ProChex is an aqueous 2% Chlorhexidine digluconate solution, Effectives against the flora and endotoxins that contaminate the root canal system. It has a sustainable effect on dental tissues and provides long-term disinfection of the root canal system. ProChex has broad spectrum bactericidal effect against Gram (+) and Gram (-) bacteria, and has antifungal effect in root canal infections.
- Inhibits MMP activity in the hybrid layer with its chlorhexidine content and provides protection of collagen network. In this way, it assist to increase the adhesion of root canal sealers to the root canal walls.
- ProChex does not contain any surfactant agents thus, it does not adversely affect the bond strength of restorations. Furthermore, the toxicity is low due to not contain additives.
